In a way, insurance becomes a “second-chance” or “rebound” career. That’s exactly how it worked for me, and for many of the people I’ve had the privilege of working alongside over the years.

No matter how you find your way here, it can easily become one of the best career decisions you’ll ever make.

Because insurance is something everyone needs—and they know it. In many cases, it’s even required by law. The industry is always evolving, with new products, changing rates, and constant demand. On top of that, life events—retirement, health changes, marriages, loss of a loved one—naturally lead people to reevaluate their coverage.

That’s where we come in.

We help retirees understand how Medicare works so they can choose plans that truly fit their needs and support their health. Then, we stay alongside them over time, offering guidance as their lives and needs change. It’s simple, but incredibly meaningful.

The work itself is very consultative. Yes, technically it’s “sales,” but that label doesn’t fully capture what we do. It’s really about listening, understanding, and helping people make confident decisions. You sit down with someone, hear their story, and help them get what they need.

Along the way, you’ll experience something special—you’ll be welcomed into people’s homes, meet their pets, admire their gardens, share a glass of iced tea, and have genuine conversations. Over time, those interactions often turn into lasting relationships. It’s a deeply rewarding way to make a living.
